Bambi For Clinical Specular Microscope

Trying to capture the endothelium cells from a patient is not an easy task. Patient eye will keep moving, good image will never stay focused for seconds. When the microscope user pressed the button to get a good image, that good image will probably run out of focus.

Bambi has a unigue Cycle Image Feature. Cycle Images features will continuously capture images from live video into a buffer of nine images. Depending the speed and performance of the hardware, this procedure will capture images with a high speed. Cycle Images is particulary useful for clinical microscope use. Cycling the Images will provide an easy solution for this kind of task. When a user pressed the button, the system will stop cycling, and freeze the buffer of previous images. The user then will have nine images to examine.

Automatic Cell Count

Currently, Bambi 2002 is the best cell counting machine in the market, with its AutoCount feature. With Pentium-350 MHz computer, 800 cells can be counted in approx 4 seconds.

Autocount accurately recognize the location of cell-center and cell-border. But still, Autocount provide the user the full control for the process. The user can manually edit the cells after automatic recognation, in a very easy way. Just click the mouse button to change, to add, to delete the cells center, and AutoCount do the rest.
